Honey Heist - Bunny Heist

In honor of the holiday, what better way to celebrate Christ's rising than a celebration of crass consumerism and stealing honey from corporations? A group of bears and bear-adjacent creatures need to break into a graham cracker, Peeps(C), and chocolate corporate sponsored Easter egg roll at a camp ground. In order to get the ultra dense Mega Honey(C), they will need to be more than bears and bear-adjacent creatures.

They will need to be bunnies.

Ernest - Galoo: Honey Badger, Retired, The Face

Table Chatter - Jeff Barber & Blue Planet Recontact

Jeff Barber of Biohazard Games was kind enough to join us for a Table Chatter on the (as of press time) about to launch Blue Planet Recontact Kickstarter! Ben and Greg ask him about the history of this game line, the desire to make Recontact, and growth in game design. Also biology facts.

The Kickstarter is slated to launch on the 6th on Kickstarter. Jeff can be found on Twitter @biohazardjeff, or at Biohazard Games' website.

Delta Green - Proxy Clean

Micah leads us through a DG one shot! A rag tag group of people are called into a town in Wisconsin. A siren is going off, warning nearby residents that a nuclear incident is occurring at the nearby decomissioned Kewaunee Power Station, and residents in a 20 mile exclusion zone are warned to leave. These four folks (not read into DG,) are called in because of their expertise, and were not in the exclusion zone at the start of things. A potential terrorist event is happening, and Chad needs to lead the crew inside to ensure that the plant isn't going into a full meltdown...

Micah: GM

Ben: Chad Fisher, Soldier

Dan: Tracy Roberson, Nuclear Engineer

Greg: Lawrence Simpson, Firefighter

Whit: Victoria Carr, Mathematician

Red Markets - 10K Lakes - Sign o the Times

It is silly, no?
When a rocket blows
And everybody still wants to fly
Some say a man ain't happy, truly
Until a man truly dies
Oh why, oh why, sign o' the times

Most of Freelance has either escaped the Loss or has resigned themselves to it. But one member remains stuck in between. NRG's husband and son have been sent over the wall. He remains, and needs to join them. (As we start with JOLS Gen) he's got a contract with the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame to raid Paisley Park and get as much Prince memorabilia as he can, but especially the masters that remain in his vault, and due to his specialties, the motorcycle from Purple Rain. With only himself and Nitro left, NRG is going to have to dig deep into the rolodex to get people to go with him...

The 23rd will mark the 5th Anniversary of Technical Difficulties. It has been an amazing five years, and we are incredibly grateful for all of you, for sticking with us. From Aaron, Adam, Ben, Ethan, Greg, Laura, and everyone else who plays with us, we are thankful for everyone who listens.

Adam - GM

Greg - NRG - A hustling mechanic who will do anything to join his loved ones over the wall.

David – Longshot – A dispossessed Canadian that hasn’t let the apocalypse ruin his good nature.

Ethan – Taxey – A street tough hustler/rapper with a new baby and a new purpose.

Table Chatter - DIE

We've recorded a Table Chatter, and we're dropping it as a bonus episode for Patrons for a limited time!

Ben introduced Aaron and Greg to the Image comic series DIE by Kieron Gillen and Stephanie Hans. In DIE, a group of six teens got sent to the world of their RPG in the 90s. Only five came back a few years later, and now in 2017, the remnant have returned to their world to confront their pasts and their futures. In addition, Kieron has started to develop an RPG version of the series. We talk the comic, our own pasts with comic books as a whole, the comic and how it interacts with RPGs, and the beta itself.

Kieron's already got over 250 pages of the beta for DIE available for free online, and on itch.io. If you are interested in the comic itself, the first issue is available to read for free on Image's website. DIE does contain depictions of violence, depression, and more. Viewer Discretion is advised (and for the rest of Kieron's work for Image, frankly.)

Aaron and Vince have just opened a Patreon for Kame House Party. They also stream weekly on Twitch. Aaron's also on Thinking Too Hard About Anime with Noah.

If you really want to read about wasps, Ben's paper is available on Biorxiv.

Greg is on Twitter @gjbennett33 and really should stream more on Twitch.
